Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Flutter Engineer who will be able to positively influence the direction, and help us define the future, of development on that platform. You should be able to coach and mentor other engineers, and be able to provide clear, respectful, constructive criticism in code reviews.
We want someone who can centre the needs of our customers and make decisions based on data. You’ll love collaborating, particularly with designers, and can turn their vision into great products. You’ll need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Our engineers have a wide range of experience and background, from computer science graduates to self-taught, but whatever your background, we expect you to have expertise in either Flutter, iOS or Android development having shipped apps to the AppStore / Play Store and iterated on them. You should have a history of developing clean, resilient, test-driven code and experience of working in an agile environment and understand why we choose to work this way.
You’ll have expertise with Dart, Kotlin or Swift and clean architecture. Any commercial Flutter 2 experience will be an advantage.
Whilst we don’t expect experience with all the following, our tech stack includes RxDart, Provider, Mockito, Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, Dagger 2/Hilt, Espresso, Firebase, OAuth2.
